FIELD NOTES: This whitetail deer painting brings together the full beauty of the whitetail world: a record-class twelve-point buck—known here as Prince—standing watch over a graceful doe and her two yearling fawns. Their quiet presence is interrupted only by the burst of color from ring-neck pheasants, adding movement, contrast, and realism to the scene.
