FIELD NOTES: In 1959, a Nebraska rancher stumbled upon something almost unbelievable--the largest known pair of typical whitetail deer antlers ever found. These sheds, later nicknamed “The General,” measure an astonishing 222 3/8 inches, featuring incredible 32-inch main beams and a flawlessly balanced 6×6 typical rack.
